Decades of life have colored the many facets of Kavien's photography and design. Picking up his first SLR at age 9, Kavien has developed a unique viewpoint of life in a rather quiet manner. While loud and boisterous in person, his artwork speaks of a lifetime spent in wonderment of nature and fantasy. Most of his works are completely unedited (except lighting adjustments and contrast) and rarely cropped. Kavien is a purist and even demands that his compilations be entirely based on artwork he has shot (or paid for by taxes in utilization of NASA images).
